AWM Electrical West Melbourne is a busy electrical wholesale store supporting electricians and contractors across Melbourne and supplying projects throughout Victoria.

We’re looking for an experienced internal sales person to join our team. Our store handles a high volume of orders, quotes and enquiries every day, therefore, being organised and able to manage multiple things at once is essential.

This role suits someone who enjoys being busy, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable dealing directly with trade customers.

The Role

You’ll be working across the trade counter, phone and email supporting electricians with orders, quotes and product enquiries.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Trade counter and telephone sales
• Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
• Helping customers find the right products for the job
• Sourcing products from suppliers or other stores
• Keeping quotes and orders organised and delivering on promises

It’s a practical, hands-on role where reliability and attention to detail matter.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in electrical wholesale is strongly preferred, however we will consider candidates from other trade supply environments such as plumbing, HVAC or industrial supply.

The right person will be:

• Organised and detail-focused
• Confident dealing with electricians and trade customers
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable taking ownership of customer enquiries
• Someone who solves problems rather than just processing orders

We’re a busy store where everyone does their part and contributes to the team, therefore, we’re looking for someone dependable who can slot into the team and get involved.
